darn darn darn! cant seem to find the logic. how on earth is it hard to understand. i have not used my bigpond internet for ages! no one seems to care about fixing the damn thing. why wouldn't you allow me to close my account! paying heaps for that stupid account for nothing. shesh...

its raining saturday morning. too lazy to wake up. got a call from ikea. they bumped me to an afternoon delivery. thats great. can still sleep. then again, they called and told me they're gonna be late again. great, still have time for vacuum. now they called, and its funny cos i have to carry the huge couch to my flat. ikea's idea is for customers to grab the furniture from the stockroom but never imagined that i will be carrying it from the delivery truck to my unit. whoa! now, im a couch potato... just watching reruns and relaxing. to tired, i guess...

i am damned bored and too lazy to work on a Sunday night. its just not a good habit. finally, i was able to upload my pictures for the last 1.5 month. here goes:

a tough week. obviously spending some time out of the net. series of unfortunate events happened to me recently. don't know if i should be thankful for such a crappy week 'cos it made my weekend a bit special. and i realised that the busy season is just getting started.

the week before
just when i got home from my port stephen's vacation, i was so tired that i wasn't able to clean up and do some chores at home. got locked-out last weekend to make it even worse. i was wearing the same clothes from port stephen's and now i have to go to a party wearing the same thing?!? fortunately, my friend has similar size not to mention the footwear, which exactly fits. so it wasn't bad after all. t'was really a nice kickoff before the start of a busy january.

client call
first day at work and its a client call. went all the way to Botany. such a horrific experience all this damn french clients. always have hectic deadlines. was able to deliver prior to deadline but totally not satisfied with my crappy work. well, i guess its back to a "5-day cruelty and 2-day fun routine".

no internet - wuhuhu
i was quietly enjoying the internet and all of a sudden everything got disconnected. a total blackout on my internet connection. for unknown reasons, it's my 5th day without the net and i am soooo annoyed.

circular quay dinner
dinner with friends.. a lot of catching up with them. met my friend from melbourne who visited sydney. had barbie with friends at Bobbin Head. ate dinner on missed resto's over at circular quay... helped a friend of a friend look for a place to live. and we recall those first few months of desperately searching for a place to live, even temporarily or else we get evicted...

had some drinks at my place last night. though i haven't totally cleaned my place, at least i had one hour pressure to at least tidy the place a bit.

and know i'm looking for a sofa bed and some table set for the balcony in IKEA. i just realised that i really need a couch at my living room. hopefully with fingers crossed i will be able to get a nice deal.

Im at the bus for 2.5 hour drive to Nelsons Bay. Im reading David Sedaris' Naked. Feels weird to have a big grin on my face all the time. By the way, i saw a lot of dodo ng cow on the way. Parang nido commercial. Cant help but compare our kalabaw with kaw! Ü

arrived in Sydney at around 9am. been terribly tired. ive been awake 24 hours and i feel restless. cant sleep in the plane cos of the kid at my back keeps on screaming! upon reaching home, i slept... i woke up with a jumpy feeling and excitement seems to rush in for unknown reasons. i know its been a year and two months but going back here is like starting anew, like the first time I arrived in Sydney. full of hopes and dreams.

some rants and raves...
* i was able to buy flat sheet and fitted sheet BUT i feel so stupid getting a "single-sized" fitted sheet. darn!

* i was able to buy light bulbs and later realising that i got the wrong one. it shoulda been the twirly thingey. geez, i have to walk all the way back to woolies just to replace 'em.

* i sweated like a pig as i don't know how to remove the cover of my lights in the ceiling. then i realised you just need to pull one of its end it would extend. at last, its clearer now!

* after completing the download of Mac OS X, 10.5 leopard - it prompted me that the installer failed!!! far out. i've downloaded 4+ gig and waited for ages to complete and it's not working.. :( i should then buy the authentic one that costs so much!

* my friggin' credit card is not working!!? i haven't exceeded my limit and its not working. but on the good side, that's better for me to lessen my spending and start saving (new year's reso? i guess not. just an initiative, maybe.)

* port stephen's tomorrow! wohoo! i'm so excited to go.. i will stay there for 3 days and 2 nights and this will be prior to the dammit busy season that's causing me multiple palpitations.

* cooked adobo and it smells delicious. i hope i still haven't lost my cooking expertise. haha!
